    OUR APPROACH

Our energy management programs utilize best practices in energy consulting to help deliver significant efficiencies and savings. Our experience as owner/operators of global production facilities suggests about 40% of total energy efficiency improvement opportunities are achievable by changing your “energy culture”. This can be achieved by focusing on low-cost/no-cost improvement projects that do not require significant outlays of capital. Our experienced energy management consultants collaborate with you and your team members to identify and prioritize these energy savings opportunities and develop a plan that is practical and sustainable.

We develop a roadmap to prioritize and execute improvement projects that drive improved energy performance and team focus/accountability, quick wins and sustained long-term savings, and reduction in carbon emissions. Many companies have started, or are ramping up, programs to reduce their energy consumption due to rising costs and/or public pressure to reduce environmental footprints. Our consultants help clients assess the current state, identify quick wins and medium and longer-term improvements, develop a comprehensive energy strategy, and design and implement an energy management system (EnMS). This enables long-term, continuous improvement of an organization’s energy consumption.

Industry and urban energy planning

One of the main challenges of the green transition is to transform industries, cities and municipalities with low carbon economies. A contributing factor is that energy has been traditionally produced centrally and then distributed to the energy consumers through electricity grids and distribution systems, which implies higher costs and less efficiency. A green future, on the other hand, asks for a decentralised approach to energy that utilises the available resources as cost-efficiently as possible. This includes a reduction of costs and the optimisation in the exploitation of renewable sources, including a reduction in energy losses, both during production and supply. Zoreel has worked in industries, cities and municipalities worldwide, assisting consumers, local authorities, energy suppliers and producers in aligning their energy strategies with operational, political, legislative and environmental goals and building a sustainable future.
